The Global Mapping Project is the project in which
advanced countries and developing countries participate on an equal footing.
For solving global environmental and food problems, it is necessary for developing
countries to provide data for mapping. However, some developing countries donft
update the data for several decades.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of japan is implementing the
Global Mapping Partnership Program in order to support developing countries in
mapping and updating data for the map. |
