	2008.12.05 Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Government of Japan, will make an oral presentation to facilitate the use of Global Map for discussions on measures against climate change .
	2008.11.11 Global Map V.1(Global version, Vegetation[Pertcent Tree Cover] Layer and Land Cover layer [GLCNMO]) became available for commercial use.
	2008.10.30 Global Map V.1(National and Regional version) in User-Friendly formats(Shape and TIFF) are released.
	2008.06.07 Global Mapping Forum 2008 was successfully completed with the adoption of Tokyo Declaration on Global Mapping.
	2008.06.05 Global Map V.1(Global version, Vegetation[Pertcent Tree Cover] Layer and Land Cover layer [GLCNMO]) was released.
